An email was sent out by the forest service advising of a temporary closure of some trails - Camp 5 Area.
Hi All
I wanted you to know that we have had to temporally close some of the trails on the system due to the recent rain event. The Camp 5 Area trails are flooding and the Red Lake ATV trails (8050-8055) have been damaged. We will keep an eye on them and open them back up when possible. I have closed the gates on both of these areas. Could you please pass the word around through your channels I’m sure I missed someone with my e-mail.
We had around 7.5 inches of rain in the past 4 days that are contributing to the minor flooding and really muddy roads and trails.
Thanks for your help and I will let you know when these open back up again.
