We decided that something different needed to be done. Jerry and Brad came up with what me now call the Stock Tire Challenge. Yep STOCK TIRES, P-235's or smaller. Put em on your locked up rig and run a 4+ rated trail. Sounds crazy doesn't it? We thought so but we did it anyway. Someone told us once we should all be committed!!! You would be surprised on how well old junk little bitty tires actually do in the rocks!!!! We only lost one tire all day. We ran the trail Full-Size. Now this trail can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be. If you do all of the obstacles it is hard and has stuck, broke and rolled many a rig. But you can go around many of the big obstacles or avoid whole sections if you are wimpy. But the three rigs that came with their stock tires on have never been accused of being wimpy. So they did the hard stuff with the little tires. There were also several rigs that showed up to try some hard rocks and get some driving experience in the tougher stuff. They left their bigger tires on and got the experience they were looking for!

Here is Marty getting some valuable driving experience on the Speed Bump.

Here is Shane on the Speed Bump. He normally runs 34x9.50 swampers on his Cherokee. Today he has P-235's.

Here is Jason in his narrowed Bronco. He normally runs 35 boggers. Those are P-205's and with his hydraulics on all 4 corners did even the hardest stuff on the trail. Here is doing the Rocker Pile. And yes he made it!!

Here is Mike giving the big rocks a try.

This had to be the silliest looking thing ever. Scott normally runs 38.5x14.5 SX's on his Branger. The front tires today are P-225's and the rear are some bias ply retreads!!!

Here is Pete in his Wrangler getting some good diving experience in the Rocks.
